Verband premium filly. Large sized and good type, athletic foal with supple movements and a very good canter. Her dam is State Premium "Athendra". Athendra's granddam, Weidthene (a medium (M) level show jumper) is the dam of the advanced (S) level show jumpers Grand Duc (2 x Bundeschampion), Grand Gio, Gio Gitano and other show jumpers (some of which are in the US). The great granddam, Athene (an advanced (S) level show jumper) was highly successful in sport until she was 17 years old. This Last Liberty dam line is also the origin of the World Cup winner, Aramis. The dam's sire, Contendro, is one of today's greatest jumper-makers. The filly's sire, Checkland, is a highly popular OS premium stallions. Judges were extremely impressed by his first crop of foals.
